Bosbelasting op Boeken
In Nederland zit op boeken, kranten en tijdschriften het lage BTW tatief van 6%. Helaas geldt dit niet voor het Ebook. Volgens de huidige Btw-richtlijn mag alleen een laag btw-tarief worden toegepast op papieren boeken. Waanzinnig als men bedenkt dat het traditionele boek belastend is voor het milieu en daar het transport nog bij telt.
Nu er voldoende aanbieders zijn van zogenaamde ebook readers stel ik voor dat de belasting (btw) op Nederlandstalige boeken ook naar 19 procent gaat en er een soort Toyota Prius voordeel op de ebookreader wordt toegekend. Geen btw verhoging voor boeken in andere talen en schoolboeken zodat de concurentiepositie voor boekhandels niet in gevaar komt. En subsidie voor iedere fysieke boekhandel van het Prins Bernardfonds want wat is het fijn om een middagje in een boekhandel te snuffelen.
